Gore LEADS in the popular vote, he hasn't WON the popular vote yet. There are thousands of absentee ballots left to be counted(they have till the 17th) and a majority of the absentee ballots are military. The military voters are strongly republican, so you can's say Gore has won the popular vote yet, you're doing just like the media did in Florida, on election day at 7 eastern they declared Gore the victor in FL, but the polls weren't closed in western FL(polls that include a heavy majority of republican voters) and about half an hour later the media finally realized they screwed up and withdrew the statement. This is like declaring the Mets won the world series only after 3 games. So please do not declare someone a victor unless the fight has ended. The popular vote doesn't win the the presidency, the electoral college does.

The Truth Hurts,
