Here's some information from Teresa. We also enclosed a hard copy of this
in your packet. Beth

February 2001 Draft Eugene Land Use Code Ordinance Available at the Permit
and Information Center (PIC) - 99 West 10th Avenue. One free copy to all
neighborhood leaders. Additional copies may be purchased at $26 each.
Draft ordinance also available for review at the PIC, public libraries
(main and branch), and at the project website-
http://ci.euigene.or.us/zoneproj/default.htm

Following the Land Use Code ordinance is another ordinance to change
Chapter 6 of the municipal code regarding tree standards. This ordinance
is also available on the project website.

February 2001 Draft Eugene Land Use Code LEGISLATIVE VERSION also
available. What to see how various comments from the neighborhood leaders
were addressed? This document shows the changes the City Council made to
the April 2000 draft code recommended by the Eugene Planning Commission.
New text is shown in bold and text to be deleted is shown in strikeout.
The legislative version also clearly shows changes made to clarify
proposed standards or to address legal concerns.

Public Information Sessions on Draft Land Use Code -

February 19, Sloat Room, Atrium (99 West 10th Avenue)- - 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.

City Council is scheduled to consider adopting the land use code ordinance
on February 26. An alternative schedule for adoption is for final action

the City Council, staff will include in the Council's agenda packet for
the February 26 meeting, ways to amend the draft ordinance to reduce the
costs associated with implementing the new code.
