A group of neighbors in the area of Milton Park (on Potter just south of 32nd) have begun looking at the possibility of giving the "pocket park" a facelift with new play equipment and landscaping. Presently, there remains only a rusty swingset in desperate need of repair due to exposed concrete footings, and a basket ball hoop (no net) with cracked cement pad.

This is a very unique neighborhood park and has great potential to become a vibrant community "back yard". We are planning on applying for matching funds from the City but will need all the community involvement and support we can get.

Any interest in helping out or any suggestions and insights from similar projects (ie Tugman) would be very much appreciated.

Feel free to contact me directly at work or home

Thanks,
