Dear Neighborhood Leader,
BRING Recycling is organizing an event to collect and recycle expanded polystyrene foam packaging (EPS), often known by the trademarked name Styrofoam. EPS has not been recycled in the community for many years. It is used to package just about every electronic item sold--and a lot are sold this holiday season. It is the white, lightweight blocks of plastic marked with a "6" inside the chasing arrows recycling symbol. Don't throw it away! We have made arrangements for it to be recycled. Please announce to your neighborhoods, in meetings or by email that this event will be happening.
What: Block Foam and foam peanuts recycling event
Where: Glenwood Central Receiving Station "the dump" "County transfer site". 3100 East 17th, Glenwood
When: Jan 12th, 2002. 10-3
Any clean, dry foam will be accepted at no charge. It will be recycled by Marko Foam products.
Help us keep this material out of our landfills and put it back to work.
Feel free to pass this message on to anyone you wish.
Thanks for your help,
Julie Daniel
