This is a signature for a petition asking Mr Nader to refrain from doing what he did the last time - the action that is as a result nearly destroying our country. Regardless of my respect for his lifetime of effort, I cannot support any effort for him to become president. It is something that cannot happen, and the result inevitably would be to reelect the current president. If this is what Mr. Nader wants then for the first time in my life I would have to question his base line sincerity and the possibility of some hidden motives. I would like to suggest a solution - something that would benefit the Green Party. How about supporting whoever the opposition to Bush selects, but support them on the issues with which you agree. Make yourselves the arbiters of an open forum to present the truth - the truth and the untruth that both parties will present. In this way you can elevate your credibility and hold the electorate and the candidates to the values that used to be important in this country. If you really want to be effective, you need to concentrate on electing to congress people who actively support the values you say you support. Thank you.
