Dear Register Guard,It seems that during a time when major bills are coming to head in Washington DC, Senator Smith's main official phone number in DC has been consistently forwarding directly to a voicemail box which consistently - over at least the last three days at least - has simply announced 'voicemail box full' without taking a message or even giving an alternative phone number.
Where is Senator Smith? What is his concept of availability to constituents?
I have been trying to talk with the senator (via his staff of course) to make sure his committment to protecting our wildlife refuge in Alaska has not wavered. But his ears seem to be either broken, or turned off.
